To taste and see that the Lord is good means to discern, to perceive, to choose right. Whereas Moab’s taste remained in them, their scent hadn’t changed, there is no moral excellence and every time it gets hard, they escape.
This is a picture of a believer who hasn’t meditated on God’s word long enough for anything to happen, there is no change and you don’t sense that they are a Christian.

Attacks come because you are serving the Lord. Many take the easy path which makes you easy pickings for the devil.
There is a special wealth for those who go through the battle. No battle, no spoils.
Before the battle, the word is just a theory; once you have lived the battle, you walk in a greater light, greater authority and a weightiness that others don’t have; there’s life in what you say and preach.

Meditate on the word until you own it!
